Red Leaf Monkey (also called maroon leaf monkey or maroon leaf langur) is endemic to the jungles of Borneo and are easily distinguished by their shaggy auburn coat. They are arboreal primates and spend most of their time in the forest canopy.
They consume a large amount of seeds and flowers but due to their complex stomachs, they tend to avoid sweet & ripe fruits. These monkeys are extremely territorial and will challenge any intruders within their home range
