Tinimbu (or Tinimbuh) is a traditional food made from glutinous rice and wrapped with a bamboo or pandan leaf. It is similar to the Chinese Rice Dumpling (KoChung / Bakchang) except this one is made from the Dusun Tatana people in Kuala Penyu.
To enjoy Tinimbu, pick it up with Candas, a bamboo or sago stalk chopsticks and dip the dumpling into the coarse sugar. You will love the aroma of sticky rice and pandan in every bite.
