This scruffy beast is known as the Bornean bearded pig (Sus barbatus). It can be found in the tropical rainforests in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, and Borneo and can easily be recognized by their tasseled tail, elongated face, and prominent beard.

They are long legged pigs with an average weight of about 70kg but up to 120kg. Bearded pigs are typically most active in the mornings and late afternoons – spending midday resting or sleeping. They are also known to follow macaques and gibbons feeding on fruit that has dropped to the forest floor.
