One of the most beautiful building in Kota Kinabalu City is the 11-storey Che Sui Khor pagoda of Moral Uplifting Society. It was built in 2006 with architecture modelled after the Lei Feng Pagoda in Hangzhou, China. The pagoda was given the nickname “Liu He” which means “peace, prosperity and harmony”. They only light up the whole pagoda with shimmering golden light on special days of Islam, Taoism, Buddhism and Christian.
