Did you know nepenthes villosa (or villose pitcher-plant) is endemic to Sabah?

This is a tropical pitcher plant that grows at higher elevations (over 3,200m) than the other Borneoan Nepenthes species. It is endemic to Mount Kinabalu and neighbouring Mount Tambuyukon in northeastern Borneo.

Nepenthes villosa are typically weak climbers and can grow up to 25cm high, 9cm wide. This species is best known for its fearsome peristome with flared ribs that terminate in a sharp point. The colour ranges from lime green to bronze-red.
