Sulug Island, often known as rocky island is the second smallest island of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. It is located on the West Coast of Sabah with an area of 8 hectares. The name Sulug derives from the Sulu people that once inhabited the coastal regions of Sabah. Like any other island, Sulug island offers white sandy beaches, coral reefs, and clear water making it ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
