It can’t get any fresher than this! Fresh from the sea, to your plate!

This is Latok, a type of seaweed/algae that looks like clusters of little green grapes, so much so that it’s also known as seagrapes. These little gems are highly nutritious. The taste and texture is salty-crunchy and the little gems burst and pop inside your mouth giving you the flavours of the sea.

There are so many delicious ways to eat Latok. A perfect pairing would be with various types of seafood especially grilled fish, prawns, and crabs, with belacan. You can even eat it with a drizzle of lime and sliced chilis for that tangy and spicy kick.

How do you like to eat your Latok?
