Tun Mustapha Tower is a circular tower made of steel and glass located at Likas Bay, approximately 15 minutes drive away from Kota Kinabalu. It was built in 1976 by Mori Building Company and was named Yayasan Sabah Tower as it housed Sabah Foundation (Yayasan Sabah), a state-sponsored foundation to promote education and economic development in the state. In 2001, the building was renamed to honour Tun Datu Mustapha.

It is the fifth tallest building in Borneo standing at 122 meters tall and is recognized as one of Sabah’s icons. On the 18th floor, the building rotates 360 degrees to give a complete view of Likas Harbour. If you go around sunset, you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular view of the sky reflected in the building’s glass panels.
